Andrés Corral-Lugo received his bachelors' degree in 2008 from the Chihuahua University in Mexico. From 2008 to 2010, he stayed at the University of Puebla as master student, where he worked with bacterial desiccation. In 2011, he began to study a second master in
Biotechnology at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and Granada University in Granada. In 2016, he obtained his Ph.D. degree in fundamental and systemic biology at the Granada University with cum laude mention. From 2016 to present he is a postdoctoral
researcher at French National Centre of Scientific Research (CNRS) in Gif sur Yvette, France, where he worked with bacteriophages. His research is most generally on bacterial sensing, molecular mechanisms of protein chemotaxis receptor, biofilm formation and cell to cell and cell to plant interaction.
